Terms & Conditions
Best Experience, LDA., NIPC 513810935, located at Avenida da Liberdade, nº3, 2nd floor, Room 5, 1250 – 139 Lisbon, is a society dedicated to tourism services, with activities of trading, intermediation and management of products and services that will lead to the constitution of touristic offers.
Conditions described below regulate the relationship between the society mentioned above and the client. In this manner, the knowledge and acceptance of the present conditions by the client are assumed when hiring its services. The general conditions described here may be complemented with specific conditions sent to the client, with the specific conditions complementing and overlapping the general conditions.
Programming
The services proposal (price, place, other information) will be applicable only in the dates presented in the proposal. The description of each service in the customized proposals sent to the client is abridged but as explicit as possible.
However, the content and format of the services may suffer slight alterations, depending on the time of year and weather conditions. The possible modifications will be announced at the moment of the confirmation of your reservation. The services and programmes offered to the client include a detailed description of the activities, such as standards of conduct, general and specific conditions, prices, among other information. The participants must know the activities programme they are joining.
Schedule
The information about the length of the activities is only an estimate, actually depending on external factors to the guides. A 15 minutes tolerance will be given so that all participants arrive at the meeting point.
Reservations/Payment
To sign up in any Best Experience activity, you must, imperatively, make your reservation through a reservation form in our website – www.bestexperiencelisbon.com – or by the e-mail info@bestexperiencelisbon.com , this act meaning that you are purchasing the requested service and agreeing to the activity’s General and Specific Conditions. This way, you accept the commitment to pay all the services provided in the activity for which you made a reservation.
After making the reservation you must proceed to the payment of the service or activity for which you signed up. The payment for the activities must be made by credit card (using a platform specialized in internet payments, with total safety, developed and provided by a revered institution) or bank transfer, to the account number given in the proposal, and you must send a proof of payment to the e-mail info@bestexperiencelisbon.com.
All payments must be made in Euros, no matter the client’s country. There may be fees, commissions, taxes, etc., charged by the client’s bank that could alter the final amount taken from the client’s account in relation to the payment due to Best Experience, for which Best Experience takes no responsibility.
When signing in / making the reservation the Client commits to the following terms:
- To be aware and accept the present Terms and Conditions of participation, as well as the activity in which the Client is signing in, which constitutes the specific conditions of participation in the activity.
- To be in appropriate health conditions for the activity you are signing in and accept the nature of it, namely the risks resulting from the impossibility of immediate access to medical attention.
- To be aware of the possible physical and psychological demands involving the activity which could lead to unpredictable situations.
Reservations depend on availability of the date & time desired by the client, as well as the availability of the tourism companies who collaborate with Best Experience Lisbon to accomplish the proposed programmes.
Reimbursements and Cancelations/ Alterations/Annulment
In the need to cancel a service or an activity, for reasons beyond our power (for example: adverse weather conditions), we will let you know as soon as possible and will do our best to present you an alternative date or activity of your convenience, or there could be a total reimbursement of the price of the activity.
Best Experience reserves the right to cancel activities in the following situations:
- The number of participants is inferior to the minimum requested for each activity;
- Weather conditions or others make it impossible to carry out the activity;
- Security conditions are not assured;
- The conditions foreseen in the specific conditions are not assured.
Several activities depend on the weather conditions. If an activity is cancelled due to weather conditions, you will be offered an alternative activity or a new reservation, but on this particular case, it will always depend on the weather conditions of the day of the reservation.
If the clients cancel the reservation, they can be fully or partially reimbursed in the following conditions:
- Total reimbursement if the cancelation occurs 7 consecutive days before the activity begins, and if after the reservation was made Best Experience did not make commitments with other entities involved in the activity.
- 50% reimbursement if the cancelation occurs 5 to 6 consecutive days before the activity begins, and if after the reservation was made Best Experience did not make commitments with other entities involved in the activity.
If the client cancels the reservation 4 or less consecutive days before the beginning of the activity there will be no reimbursement.
Concerning No – Shows the above line applies.
Concerning tickets for special events, shows or the theatre, there will be under no circumstance, total or partial reimbursement.
Best Experience Proof of Payment
In order to access any activity, you must present a document, either in digital or paper format, sent by Best Experience confirming the reservation after the payment has been made, without this you will not have access to the activities related to the reservation. You may also be asked to present an identification document. These proceedings exist to prevent any fraud from occurring.
Transport
Itineraries included in the programme are merely indicative, there could be alterations to the route. Unless previous indication, we do not include transport in our services.
Safety Regulations
Services provided by Best Experience fully comply with the safety regulations. However, participants must keep in mind that due to the nature of some services, risk cannot be totally eliminated.
Participants in Best Experience activities must commit to follow certain standards of conduct, respecting their own safety as well as the safety of others (participants in the activities or not) and nature. Best Experience and its associates will not take responsibility for a participant’s improper conduct during the activities, but they could end the activity if the safety conditions or the conduct standards are not being respected.
The clients have the responsibility to ensure that they are in full health conditions to join the activities. Certain activities presuppose certain conditions in the person who does them, such as minimum age, health condition as other physical and psychological requirements.
Where possible, such restrictions will be mentioned in the proposal sent to the client, so we recommend the careful reading, when you receive it.
Responsibility

Indemnity Insurance, covering property damages and non-property damages over third parties or Clients that may be attributed to us in the development of our activity.

All the content of the Best Experience website (texts, photographs and information) is protected by copyright and cannot be used without the permission of Best Experience, LDA. Photographs taken during the activities promoted by Best Experience may be used to promote its services.
